Morgan
Technical Ceramics' (MTC) design and manufacturing facility in Stourport-upon-Severn,
has secured a new multi-million pound contract with Danish pump manufacturer,
Grundfos. The deal comes as the two companies celebrate 40 years of working
together and the opening of a new 'Volume Precision Ceramics' department
at the site in Bewdley Road.
Morgan Technical Ceramics produces a variety of precision ground ceramic components including thrust washers, seal rings, shafts and bearings, which are used by Grundfos in its domestic and industrial pumps.
Liam Shaw, Business Unit Manager, Morgan Technical Ceramics, Stourport said, “"We are extremely excited about this contract because it reflects our commitment to long-term collaborative relationships with our customers. It is also a great endorsement of the quality of the design and production that we deliver from this site.”
