Emerson Names Flotech Solutions as exclusive UK distributor for Mobrey® Rotameter® and Brooks® VA Flowmeter ranges

Emerson Process Management is pleased to announce Flotech Solutions as its exclusive distributor for the Mobrey Rotameter range of variable area (VA) flow meters in the UK, effective from September 1st 2007.

The move makes Flotech - already the long-established distributor of the Brooks Instrument range of VA flow meters - a single-source supply for the entire range of Emerson Process Management variable area products.

“The Brooks and Rotameter VA products together provide a comprehensive range of options for customers looking for simple, reliable flow measurement in harsh or special conditions,” explains Steve Seddon, director, sales and marketing, Mobrey Measurement. “By bringing them together under one roof, with Flotech’s long-standing applications expertise, we can give UK customers even better sales service and support.”

The company is also pleased to announce that Martin Rowe, the former product manager for Mobrey VA meters, has accepted a position with Flotech, which means that Martin, with his extensive product and application knowledge, will continue to support Mobrey VA customers and their transition to Flotech.

Variable area flow meters need no external power source, making them ideal for flow monitoring of gas or liquid flows in remote, difficult or hazardous conditions. The combined Emerson Process Management range includes glass, metal, acrylic and polycarbonate tube versions, with a variety of wetted materials, for use in high temperature and high-pressure applications.
