Ideal Industries’ range of In-Sure™ push-in wire connectors saves time and improves connectivity in a variety of wiring applications. With In-Sure™, Ideal Industries has created an effective replacement for the traditional screw-down terminal strips commonly used in the UK.

Durable and easy to use, they are particularly suitable for OEM lighting manufacturing, prefabricated wiring systems, and other OEM and general lighting circuit applications - for example connecting neutral wires behind light switches.

Traditional screw-down terminal strips do have the advantage that wire removal is easy, but the screws can work loose causing arcing and overheating in the connector. This potential fire risk is one of the primary reasons why push-in connectors are replacing terminal blocks in many applications.

The simple glide-in wire connection and compact size of In-Sure™ makes installation easy, and the clear polycarbonate housing allows visual verification of every connection.

Colour coded for easy identification, Ideal’s push-in connectors are available in 2 through to 8-port models, and accept any combination of 0.75 mm² - 2.5 mm² solid, or 1.5 mm² - 2.5 m²m rigid stranded wires. Other features include a check port for continuity testing and a built-in strip length gauge.

In-Sure™ connectors conform to EN60998-2-2 and are rated to 24A and 450V maximum and shell rated to 40?C. The range is CE marked, VDE and KEMA approved.
