IDEAL and Livingston partner to meet customers’ short-term and project-based testing needs

IDEAL INDUSTRIES’ quality range of LANTEK handheld testers are now available to rent as a result of a new partnership with leading equipment management company Livingston UK Ltd. The partnership enables end-users to meet their immediate short-term need for reliable network infrastructure testing without capital outlay.

IDEAL’s LANTEK 7G and LANTEK 6 cable testers enable test and certification of copper and fibre data networks to all current Category 5e/Category 6 and future Category 6a/Category 7 requirements. The LANTEK 7G is the world’s first cable tester fully compliant with the emerging Augmented Category 6 and Category 7/ISO F standards and the industry’s only tester capable of certifying up to 1GHz. LANTEK 6 is fully compliant with Category 6/ISO E and has a frequency range up to 350MHz. The testers enable the use of standard patch cords for Permanent link testing instead of bulky, expensive test adapters or personality modules while LANTEK’s fast autotest function enables improved productivity.
