Account Executive for Freshwater Technology
Romsey-based technical public relations
consultancy, Freshwater Technology, has appointed
University of Portsmouth graduate, Emma Playford, as
Account Executive.
Emma, 23, graduated this summer with a degree in English
Literature and Psychology. Before university she worked
at the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), supporting
the ministerial office of Lord Sainsbury, the Parliamentary
Under Secretary of State for Science and Innovation.
This is Emma’s first public relations role, and as part of her career
development she will be studying for the Chartered Institute of Public Relations
(CIPR), Advanced Certificate in January 2007.
Freshwater Technology’s Managing Director, Rachel
Owen, commented: "Emma will help look after a wide
range of engineering and technology clients, and will
be an asset to the team."
Emma said: “I am looking forward to getting to
know the clients and their business. I will use the
skills from my degree and work experience in technology
issues at the DTI, to assist me in my new role.
