Freshwater Technology grows its IT Accounts Group with the PR contract for Acutest
Hampshire-based
PR consultancy Freshwater Technology has
expanded its IT Accounts Group by securing a PR contract
with London-based independent testing consultancy Acutest.
Acutest provides consultancy services focused on testing
software, IT and technology-centred change in all types
and sizes of business. The company’s goal is to
provide increased value for its clients by: reducing
the time spent testing; minimising the risk of going
live; and reducing the cost of testing. This is the
first time Acutest has used outsourced PR services.
Freshwater Technology will be responsible for raising the
profile of Acutest among its target audience of Programme
Managers, IT Directors, COOs, MDs and CEOs. This involves
developing opportunities in the IT and business press
for Acutest to provide fresh insightful commentary on
the business issues surrounding testing.
Acutest CEO, Barry Varley commented: “In the three
years since Acutest’s inception our media relations
and market communications has been sporadic because
our primary focus was on building sales. Black &
White is helping us to take a more consistent and structured
approach to communications. The company’s understanding
of technology and established contacts in the IT and
business media will help us to raise awareness of the
Acutest brand.”
Freshwater Technology’s Head of IT Accounts Group,
Lindsey Lee said: “Acutest’s decision to
work with Freshwater Technology reflects the growth in our
IT portfolio. We are delighted to have them as a client
and are looking forward to a long and successful relationship.”
