Local PR firm is awarded the PR industry’s highest quality standard accolade
Following a comprehensive audit by
DNV Certification, Romsey-based technical public relations
consultancy,
Black
& White Communications Ltd., has been awarded the
prestigious Consultancy Management Standard - the PR
industry's highest quality standard accolade. Of the
2,000+ public relations firms in the UK, Black &
White is one of only 120 to receive the award.
The Consultancy Management Standard (CMS) is run by the Public Relations Consultancy Association (PRCA). CMS combines elements of ISO 9000 and Investors in People with criteria specific to public relations consultancy. Rigorously and independently audited by professional business standard auditors DNV Certification, CMS provides a clear differentiator on quality, delivery, professionalism and performance.
Flora Hamilton, former director-general
PRCA says: "The Standard focuses on ensuring robust
business
processes
are in place to satisfy the needs of three key communities
- clients, employees and the consultancy as a business.
The success of our industry depends on how public relations
consultancies prove the value they deliver. CMS is the
PRCA's route to attaining this goal."
“At Freshwater Technology, we are delighted to have passed the CMS audit first time,” comments Rachel Owen, Managing Director, Black & White Communications. “The implementation of best practice and the principle of continuous improvement have always been central elements of Freshwater Technology's business approach. CMS is the independent verification that we are attaining the high standards we set for ourselves.”
