Christmas comes early for local PR executive

Sarah Clarke, Account Executive at Romsey-based public relations consultancy, Black & White Communications, has successfully completed the Institute of Public Relations (IPR) Advanced Certificate post-graduate course.
.
Sarah studied the one-year intensive course on a part-time basis at Birkbeck College in London. She joined Black & White Communications in July 2004, following completion of a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Birmingham.

“The IPR is the UK’s leading public relations industry professional body and the Advanced Certificate is highly regarded within the PR industry. This award complements Sarah’s technical knowledge and will allow her to progress her career in public relations. The combination of technical background and PR skills which Sarah has is key to Freshwater Technology’s approach. Our team of multi-disciplined consultants offer a rare combination of technical understanding, writing ability and creativity”.

“All the hard work was worth it in the end,” says Sarah, who is now an associate member of the IPR. “I have decided to continue my professional development by enrolling to study for the IPR’s post graduate diploma.”

Sarah’s individual achievement follows the company’s success in being awarded the prestigious Consultancy Management Standard - the PR industry's highest quality standard accolade. The Consultancy Management Standard (CMS) is run by the Public Relations Consultancy Association (PRCA).
