Fusion Workshop wins gold

•Company becomes one of just nine companies worldwide to be awarded Gold Partner status

Fusion Workshop, the specialist web consultancy, has been awarded ‘Gold Partner’ status by its content management system (CMS) partner, Immediacy. The accreditation comes as the companies complete their fifth successful integration project together, developing the website and associated business-critical applications for luxury leisure destination in Pembrokeshire, Bluestone.

“Gold partners are an extension of our in-house development teams and we are delighted to welcome Fusion Workshop to that select group,” comments Andy Peart, Head of Marketing, Immediacy. “Fusion Workshop has an impressive track record in delivering CMS customisation and implementation in both the private and public sectors, which is the result of the company’s commitment to delivering web and eBusiness applications that support its clients’ long-term business goals.”

Fusion Workshop analyses, builds, develops, implements and manages business-driven web solutions. Established in 1999, the company has successfully delivered more than 100 web implementation projects many of which have included integration with eCommerce, ticketing, access control, CRM, ERP, accounting and bespoke systems.

“With the CMS implementation safely in place we can then concentrate on the more complex and potentially risky integration aspects,” explains Chris Short, Managing Director, Fusion Workshop. “Immediacy delivers the enterprise-strength web content management with eGif compliance, search engine optimisation (SEO) and Web 2.0 features. We then build highly functional, custom plug-ins that communicate across the existing systems enabling seamless integration and sharing of content and data.”

An example of the collaboration is the recently completed project for Bluestone. Immediacy’s CMS provides all web content, subscriber and newsletter services and ensures the site is compliant and search engine optimised. Fusion Workshop’s customised plug-in integrates these elements with Bluestone’s existing property management and CRM systems including MICROS OPERA Web Suite.

“It’s a win-win partnership,” comments Short. “eGIF compliance is key for web managers while SEO and Web 2.0 features address the needs of marketing managers. We then use our proven roadmap and project management skills to ensure that these features are aligned with the customer’s needs to deliver a scalable, future-proof, integrated web site that delivers against their online strategy.”

The companies are already working on a further seven joint projects for 2008.
