New Year, New Face: Fordway expands new business team
ICT infrastructure specialist Fordway has appointed Jenny Stewart as New Business Sales Manager for London and the South East.
Jenny, who will be based at the company’s new headquarters in Surrey, has more than 20 years experience in the IT industry, 17 of which were spent at Xerox where she held a variety of account management, channel and new business roles. Jenny has also worked for storage giant EMC and joins from business software and IT services consultancy Prologic.
“We are delighted that Jenny has decided to join us,” comments Richard Blanford, Managing Director, Fordway Solutions. “She has the credentials and drive to be an integral part of our new business efforts during a very exciting time for us.”
The appointment follows the recent launch of a new managed and hosted infrastructure service, which it believes could help organisations reduce IT infrastructure costs by up to 25 per cent.
“IT departments need to maximise intelligence and minimise maintenance,” comments Jenny. “The new offering, which uniquely combines best-of-breed technologies from companies such as VMware, Compellent, Commvault, Riverbed, Citrix and Microsoft, enables organisations to improve business efficiency, reduce IT infrastructure costs, lower the risk of a business outage and maximise return on investment. I’m extremely confident that this is exactly what the market needs and I’m delighted to be involved.”
The appointment is the second in the last few months, Barry O’Keefe, previously of 2e2 and Trysis, joined Fordway last year and is New Business Sales Manager for the Midlands.
