New range of UPS and chargers deliver high levels of reliability for mission critical industrial processes.

Chloride Power Protection, a global supplier of secure power solutions, has launched Apodys, a new range of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and battery chargers. The robust solution is specially designed to operate in the harsh environmental conditions found in industrial processes. Apodys is the ideal for ensuring the reliability and safety of mission critical applications in industries including oil and gas, petrochemical, and electricity production and transmission.

Using Vector Control technology, Apodys processes signals up to 10 times faster than systems using standard analogue measures. Chloride has also employed digital technology to effectively manage battery charging and DC bus line. The new technology ensures absolute stability of parallel configurations over the entire product life and perfect load sharing at any level of output power.

Apodys can be integrated with Chloride’s leading battery management software, ensuring regular inspection and performance optimisation of individual battery cells. It is fully compatible with LIFE, Chloride’s remote monitoring package, which provides detailed information on the operating status of the equipment.
