Robust diffusion pump achieves high performance with low cost of ownership
CRAWLEY,
UK (22 May 2006) - BOC Edwards, leading vacuum pump manufacturer,
has launched a new industrial diffusion pump, the HT16B. The
pump benefits from a machined cast aluminium interior for
exceptional stability during operation and a stainless steel
body to prevent corrosion and ensure cleanliness. As a result,
the HT16B provides consistent long-term performance and reliability.
The new heating installation further improves the ease of
maintenance and the half-power energy saving mode helps to
reduce running costs.
“Our aim was to provide manufacturers with a ‘fit
and forget’ vacuum solution that is cost effective,
reliable and easy to maintain.” says Ian Phillips, group
product manager, BOC Edwards. “Our customers are under
increasing pressure to find ways to reduce both capital and
operating costs whilst maintaining, and in many cases improving
production.”
The design of the interior and boiler assembly of the HT16B
enables the pumps’ performance and ultimate vacuum to
be maintained between oil changes. The new pump features a
sight glass as standard to enable operators to easily check
the oil level, with the pump either non operational or running,
without disturbing the integrity of the vacuum system.
The HT16B offers the highest throughput (up to 18mbar ls-1for
nitrogen) and performance of any comparably sized pump.

Una robusta pompa a diffusione con alto rendimento e basso costo di mantenimento.
CRAWLEY,
Regno Unito (22 maggio 2006) - BOC Edwards, leader nella produzione
di pompe da vuoto, annuncia il lancio della nuova pompa a
diffusione industriale HT16B.
I benefici di questa pompa derivano dalla parte interna lavorata
da una fusione d’alluminio, che conferisce una eccezionale
stabilità durante il funzionamento, e da un corpo in
acciaio inossidabile che impedisce la corrosione e facilita
la pulizia.
Come risultato di ciò la pompa HT16B garantisce prestazioni
e affidabilità costanti e di lunga durata. La nuova
concezione del riscaldamento migliora ulteriormente la facilità
di manutenzione mentre il modo d’uso a potenza dimezzata
contribuisce a ridurre i costi di esercizio.

La progettazione della parte interna e del boiler della pompa
HT16B permette di conservare inalterate le prestazioni e il
vuoto tra un ricambio dell’olio e l’altro.
La nuova pompa è caratterizzata da una spia visiva
standard che consente agli operatori di controllare facilmente
il livello di olio, sia che la pompa sia a riposo o in funzionamento,
senza però disturbare l'integrità del sistema
da vuoto.
La HT16B garantisce la più alta portata (fino a 8mbar
ls-1 di azoto) e la più alta prestazione, se paragonata
ad una qualsiasi pompa di pari grandezza.
