New internet site allows users to select, order and track vacuum equipment on-line

Leading manufacturer of vacuum equipment, BOC Edwards, has launched a new on-line web shop for Asian customers in Taiwan and China. Available in traditional and simplified Chinese languages, the site is accessed through www.bocedwards.com. Once registered, customers are provided with a personalised account through which they can search for products, check account terms and track the status of each order right up to delivery.

Convenient and easy to use, the on-line shop is accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Once an order has been placed, a member of a local dedicated customer support team contacts the customer either via email or phone to confirm the order before proceeding. Customers can also check order history and tailored catalogue information.

The Chinese versions accompany the English, French and German sites launched last year. Product information and ordering pages on the new sites, which are currently in English, will be available in the local languages by August 2005.
