New range of high vacuum industrial and chemical mechanical boosters

Leading vacuum pump manufacturer BOC Edwards announces the launch of its new range of high vacuum mechanical boosters. Developed for reliability in aggressive environments, the SN7000, SN14000 and SN30000 are the largest mechanical boosters in the BOC Edwards industrial vacuum range.

The SN Series provides pumping speeds of 7000 to 30000 cubic meters per hour, making them ideal for large industrial and chemical applications including, steel degassing, metallurgy, coating, electron beam welding and the process engineering industries.

Based on Roots technology the SN Series is manufactured in cast iron, with a mechanical shaft seal and internal piston ring seals as standard. Depending on the model, SN Series boosters can be supplied with motors, or variable speed drives and couplings, and are available to UL, CSA or CE Standards. Chemical versions are fully certified to meet ATEX requirements. SN boosters can be supplied separately, or as part of a bespoke system.

Announcing Largest Mechanical Booster in BOC Edwards Industrial Vacuum Range

WILMINGTON, USA (17 October 2005) - Leading vacuum pump manufacturer BOC Edwards announces the launch of its new range of high vacuum mechanical boosters. Developed for reliability in aggressive environments, the SN7000, SN14000 and SN30000 are the largest mechanical boosters in the BOC Edwards industrial vacuum range.

The SN Series provides pumping speeds of 7000 to 30000 cubic meters per hour (4125 – 17700 cfm) making them ideal for large industrial and chemical applications including, steel degassing, metallurgy, coating, electron beam welding and the process engineering industries.

Based on Roots technology the SN Series is manufactured in cast iron, with a mechanical shaft seal and internal piston ring seals as standard. Depending on the model, SN Series boosters can be supplied with motors, or variable speed drives and couplings and are available to UL, CSA or CE Standards. Neue Baureihe von Wälzkolbenpumpen für die Chemie und die Industrie

BOC Edwards, ein führender Hersteller von Vakuumpumpen und Systemen, präsentiert eine neue Baureihe von Hochvakuum-Wälzkolbenpumpen. Die Pumpen SN7000, SN14000 und SN30000 sind die größten Wälzkolbenpumpen im umfangreichen Programm von BOC Edwards und wurden für zuverlässigen Betrieb beim Pumpen aggressiver Medien entwickelt.

Mit einem Saugvermögen von 7.000 bis 30.000 m3/h ist die SN-Baureihe ideal für anspruchsvolle Verfahren in der Industrie, z. B. für die Stahlentgasung, Metallurgie, Beschichtung, Elektronenstrahl-Schweißen, außerdem für zahlreiche Verfahren in der Chemie und der Verfahrenstechnik.

Die SN-Baureihe basiert auf der Roots-Technologie und wird aus Gusseisen hergestellt. Serienmäßig sind die Pumpen mit einer mechanischen Wellendichtung und internen Kolbenring-Dichtungen ausgestattet. Je nach Modell werden die SN-Pumpen mit Motor, variablem Frequenzumrichter oder Kupplung geliefert, entweder nach UL, CSA oder CE – Standard. Versionen für den Einsatz in der Chemie sind nach ATEX zertifiziert. SN-Wälzkolbenpumpen sind einzeln erhältlich oder können in maßgeschneiderte Vakuumsysteme eingebaut werden.

Nuovo range di pompe meccaniche booster per alto vuoto per l’industria e le applicazioni chimiche

BOC Edwards, leader nella produzione di pompe per alto vuoto, annuncia il lancio della nuova gamma di pompe meccaniche booster per alto vuoto. Sviluppate per garantire affidabilità in ambienti aggressivi le SN7000, SN14000 e SN30000 sono le più grandi booster meccaniche nella gamma di pompe BOC Edwards per applicazioni industriali.

La serie SN fornisce velocità di pompaggio da 7.000 a 30.000 m3/h ed è quindi ideale per grandi applicazioni industriali e chimiche quali il degasaggio dell’acciaio, la metallurgia, la metallizzazione, la saldatura a fascio elettronico e per le ingegnerie di processo.

La serie SN, basata sulla tecnologia a lobi, è costruita in ghisa, e come standard adotta tenute esterne sull’albero meccaniche e interne a fasce elastiche.
A seconda del modello, le pompe meccaniche booster della serie SN, possono essere fornite con motore, con variatore di frequenza o con giunto di accoppiamento; la serie è disponibile negli standard UL, CSA e CE; le versioni chimiche sono certificate per soddisfare i requisiti ATEX.
