New component ranges to debut at Southern Manufacturing

Leading component and cable accessories supplier, Anixter Components, will be launching its new product ranges for 2008 on Stand B31, Southern Manufacturing. The new ranges include crimp on terminals, cable markers, heat shrink tubing, cable & wire and adhesives & tapes. Customers will also be able to pick up a copy of the company’s new 2008/2009 catalogue which gives designers easy access to more than 10,000 components, suitable for millions of applications in diverse markets.

This is the first time the company will be supplying cable & wire and customers can now approach Anixter Components for all their cabling needs. The ranges of cable & wire on show will include, flat cable (UL, BS & tri rated types), equipment wires, mains cables and control cables.

The crimp on terminals include popular formats such as Ring, Spade, Blade and Pin Terminals for cables up to 6.0mm2, as well as Copper Tube Crimp terminals that suit cables up to 95.0mm2. The cable marker range covers cable sizes from 1.0 to 7.0mm diameter in four standard styles. The markers are available with alpha or numeric markings as well as the standard electrical symbols. The heat shrink tubing is available in two styles - 2:1 standard wall and 3:1 adhesive wall.

The range of adhesives on show will include the new range of RITE-LOK cyanoacrylates and anaerobic adhesives recently launched by 3M, as well as a range of structural and aerosol adhesives. The tapes will include filament packing tapes, masking tapes, Duct tapes, foam tapes, transfer tapes and insulation tapes.

These new additions to the company’s extensive range mean the company truly is a one-stop-shop for all cabling products. Its existing popular ranges include: PCB accessories; LED, transistor and bulb accessories; termination & insulation; motion dampers; rivets & panel fasteners; threaded fasteners & nuts; washers, insulators & bearing bushings; cable ties & accessories; strain relief bushings; liquid tight fittings; cable protection, hole banking; caps & plugs; feet; knobs & handles; and security seals.
